Technician – Renee is our Head Technician since 2008. Renee graduated from Wilson College in 1999 with a BS in Veterinary Medical Technology and is a Certified Veterinary Technician. She is also a certified animal control officer. Renee has worked in the field since 1995. Renee shares her home with her husband, John; son Andrew, dog Max and cat Pixie. Her outside interests include reading and spending time with her family and friends.
Technician Assistant – Georgette has been with us since September 2002. She enjoys working with animals and their owners. Georgette has 2 dogs, 2 cats and tropical fish. She loves spending time with her 2 teenagers. In her spare time, you can find her gardening, camping and enjoying family gatherings.
Technician Assistant – Dawn joined our staff in June 2014. She has been in the Veterinary field since 2007. Her love of animals is one of the reasons Dawn has a diverse family of pets in her house. "Annabella" is a papillon who loves to bark, "Ryno" is a very affectionate 100 lb pitbull and "Chessie" is stray cat that was very lucky to find Dawn. She lives with her husband, Jon, and stepdaughter, Jailyn. Dawn loves to spend time with her family and friends.
Technician Assistant- Lindsey is a 26 year old mom of 2; a 4 year old son and a 6 year old pit bull. The only way her mom could get her to read as a child was with Zoo Books. This made Lindsey realize that she wanted to spend her life working with animals. Lindsey joined our staff in March, 2015. Lindsey loves doing outside activities like softball, working out and hanging out with her family.
Technician Assistant – Melissa lives in Woodbridge and recently joined our team in May 2016. She has been in the veterinary field since 2001. Melissa has always loved animals, especially horses. Her family is very important to her and she lives with her son and fiancé. Completing her family are her “fur” babies, Harvey, a boxer and Ruger, a Doberman. In her spare time, Melissa loves to travel.
Technician Assistant - Jessica is a graduate of Rutgers University and has her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science. Jess wanted to have a career as a veterinary technician because she has always had a connection with animals. As a little girl, Jess says she loved taking care of or playing with cats or dogs. Jess has 3 years experience as a technician. Her love of animals is evident because she has 5 cats-Sprocket, Willow, Sully, Gypsy Moon and Jack. In her spare time, Jess loves hiking, reading, embroidery and sewing.
Technician Assistant – Melisa M lives with her 11 year old son and a 2 year old Coton de Tulear named “Comet”. Melisa has had a love for animals since she was a little girl. She grew up with many pets including a dog, cats and rabbits. Melisa started her career as a veterinary technician in 2001. She joined our staff in 2016. Melisa loves spending time with her friends and family and going to the beach in the summer with her son.
Technician Assistant – Lauren graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at Lehigh Carbon Community College in 2009. Lauren originally worked in the Lehigh Valley, PA area as a veterinary technician for 5 ½ years before moving to New Jersey and joining our staff in November 2016. Lauren has adopted 3 cats throughout her vet tech career. Two of them, “Julio” and “Nesta” live with her mom in PA. Her pride and joy is “Claudio” who came with her when she relocated to our area. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys reading, running and visiting her mom whenever possible.
Technician Assistant – Ali started her career as a veterinary technician in 2010. She also worked at Petco for about 5 years. She joined our hospital in June 2015. Ali got her certificate as a veterinary assistant and is now attending school for a degree and license in veterinary technology. Ali has always loved animals so being a veterinary technician suits her very well. She has 2 Chihuahuas named Biggie and Lola, a leopard gecko named Rex, small birds, and fish. In her free time Ali loves taking her dogs to the Dog Park. She also enjoys going to cars shows with her boyfriend or just relaxing at home with her mom and dad.
Technician Assistant – Ashley has always loved animals and that’s why she started working in a pet store feeding, cleaning and caring for the animals. That led her to getting a job in a veterinary hospital where she worked her way up from a kennel assistant to a technician assistant. She went to Bergen Community College for the Veterinary Technician program between 2015 – 2016 and later transferred to Penn Foster to finish the program. Ashley’s goal is to become a certified technician. Ashley joined our staff in June 2017. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities like hanging out with family and friends, working out, cooking and baking. Ashley lives in Woodbridge with her husband and her one rescue cat named “Lil”.
Technician Assistant – Megan is the proud niece of Dr. Gale Flanagan, owner of Route 516 Animal Hospital, where she loves spending time. Within the past couple of years, Megan has learned a lot about animal care and common medical conditions that are diagnosed and treated in small animals. Inspired by her aunt and the other doctors and staff at Rt 516, Megan plans on choosing a career in medicine working with animals, preferably in the wild. Megan is a diehard Ohio State University Buckeye fan, just like her aunt. Other than working with animals, she enjoys traveling, playing the drums, reading, swimming, and spending time with her friends.
Technician Assistant – Rebecca has lived in Old Bridge all her life. She is a graduate of Old Bridge High School and attends Rutgers University. Rebecca is studying Animal Science and Biochemistry. She is also part of the Army ROTC program in Rutgers and hopes to be an Army Veterinarian. Rebecca started with us as a Kennel Assistant in January 2016. Rebecca has a cat named Cassie who was born in the hospital and she helped deliver. In her free time, Rebecca enjoys being outdoors, playing hockey and rooting for the New Jersey Devils.
